CCS: He’s making us wait. Lol. Says he made this decision in a matter of minutes. Being A HC has been his dream and life.

 

CCS: says gave him his first chance and he showed loyalty because Tom Jurich did.

CCS: Says TJ showed him unwavering support after 2-2 start last year

CCS: Leading isn’t about telling people what to do its about serving others….

CCS: Is letting us know that he’s been to a lot of big moments for all programs at UL and he isn’t done.

CCS: You can’t buy heart,ethusiam or loyalty

Chip cosby asks how close CCS was to leaving for UT…..says he only thought about it a few minutes yesterday

CCS: when asked about situation, coach says it got bigger than he wanted it to be

Got first call from UT day after rutgers game..

CCS: there was no bidding war

CCS: he is not cut like that….when asked about a back and forth contract battle. Says ACC was no factor to him staying.

Gives the city full credit…..also says he wouldn’t walk out on his kids like that

Coach Strong is the real deal folks……love his passion

CCS: says him signing means that UL is no longer a stepping stone job

CCS: I have a great job here….I don’t need to look at SEC jobs…

CCS: I have people and staff and administration here I can trust, you can’t just get that anywhere

CCS: says he knew mondays presser shook things up….loves our fans

CCS: contract actually has not even been signed yet.

CCS: says he talked to UT after mondays presser

CCS: thinks bbn thought he was leaving…..

CCS: says re: bbn comment sometimes people just don’t like the truth.

CCS:couldn’t have imagined turning down UT job whe he first started but couldn’t have imagined being at such a great university either..

CCS: told players at meeting to trust him but didn’t tell them he was staying..

CCS: lesson he took away from situation was loyalty

CCS: loyalty makes him passionate about the university.

CCS: can run in peace now….lol

CCS: is excited for recruiting and everything that comes along with that

CCS: says he wouldn’t walk out like the rest have

CCS: future of UL football is great recruiting and more BCS games
