Football recruits tweet during their weekend visit to UofL 1-17-14

Reggie Bonnafon

Louisville football hosted 8 recruits this weekend. Five are commits and three are targets. It is always a big deal when recruits take their official visits, but this one was especially big because it was the first time for Bobby Petrino and his staff to host here at Louisville. So the goal was to keep the commits solid, and try to get the targets to commit or at least take a harder look at the Cards. National Signing Day is Wednesday February 5th.

Here are some of the things that the recruits were tweeting while talking about their visit to Louisville.

2014 Commits

Reggie Bonnafon- 4-star quarterback from Trinity High School in Louisville, KY.

Since Bonnafon’s twitter is private and the actual tweets can not be placed here, I will just type out what his said…

“About to head down to campus #OfficialVisit #CardNation”

“Catch me in #1 at Louisville btw.. #5 is Legendary”

Henry Famurewa- 3-star linebacker from Powder Springs, GA.

De’Eric Culver- 3-star defensive back from Tallahassee, Florida.

Mickey Crum- 3-star tight end/linebacker from Columbus, Ohio.

Terry Ramsey- 3-star defensive end.

Ramsey did not tweet about the trip. Most of his tweets are his horoscope.

2014 Targets

TJ Harrell- a 4-star athlete from Tampa, Florida.

Daniel Cage- 4-star defensive tackle from Cincinnati, OH.

Cage has twitter but has not tweeted since early last year.

Marlon Mack- 4-star running back from Sarasota, Florida.

Mack also has a private account, so here is what he was saying…

“HERE IN LOUISVILLE”

“FIRST TIME HAVING TO USE CHAP-STICK #FloridaBoy
