Louisville hosted 10 visitors this weekend, and that paid off as one of them, a big one (literally), committed to Bobby Petrino and the Louisville Cardinals. Kelby Johnson is a JUCO offensive tackle and stands at 6’8 and weighs in at 315 pounds. According to Scout.com and 247sports.com, he is a 3-star player. Johnson played his freshman season at Virginia before going to ASA College in Brooklyn, New York. He is originally from Hyattsville, Maryland.
Johnson joins Danny Burns as the two offensive linemen commits so far in the 2014 class. He also has offers from Ole Miss, Kentucky, Purdue, USF, Kansas, and more.
Now I am not going to sit here and say I know a ton about Kelby Johnson, but I will just repeat this and be done: 6’8 and 315 pounds!
