On Monday afternoon, Louisville assistant Wyking Jones went to watch Justin Simon, the #1 point guard in the 2015 class (according to Scout). Jones went to watch him practice, and now it is being reported that Simon has an offer from Louisville.

Simon is from Temecula, California and is listed at 6’4 or 6’5 and anywhere between 180-190 lbs (different sites have different measurements). Here is his player evaluation from scout.com:

At 6-5, Simon has wide shoulders and a lengthy set of arms. He’s been measured with a 6-11 wing span. Simon plays on the ball and is effective in that role. He sees the floor well and is a good passer. Defensively he’s able to guard three positions and is a menace as an on the ball defender. Simon is also a very good rebounder from the guard position. The next step in his development is developing his long-range shot.

He also has offers from Arizona, Creighton, San Diego State, UCLA, Oregon, USC, and many more.

Scout: 5*, #1 PG

Rivals: 4*, #80 overall player

ESPN: 4*, 45th overall player

247: 4*, 41st overall player
