It looks like Louisville could be a very realistic landing spot for 5-star (ESPN) shooting guard Antonio Blakeney from the class of 2015. Blakeney is 6’4 and 170 lbs from Orlando, Florida. It looked to be down to Louisville and Florida. With the commitment of 5-star shooting guard Kevaughn Allen to the Gators, it seems like the Cards should now be in the driver’s seat for Blakeney. After that news with Allen, Jerry Meyer (Director of Basketball Scouting for 247Sports) said this.

The last couple of weeks had the crystal ball predictions trending towards Florida. But now they are mainly favoring Louisville. Kentucky and Ohio State are also starting to get in the mix.

Here are how the major recruiting sites rate Blakeney:

ESPN: 5 stars, 16th best player in the country, 5th best shooting guard in the country, #1 player in the state.

247Sports: 5 stars, 20th best player in the country, 2nd best shooting guard in the country, 2nd best player in the state.

Rivals: 4 stars, 29th best player in the country.

Scout: 4 stars, 9th best shooting guard in the country.
