Antonio Blakeney is definitely one for fans to keep their eye on. Although he has offers from all over the country, Louisville is absolutely in the mix for him. A couple of weeks ago, it looked like it was down to just Louisville and Florida. Then the Gators got a commitment from 5-star shooting guard Kevaughn Allen. His high school coach said at the time that if Blakeney had to choose then, it would have been Louisville. But he wants to take his time and go through the recruiting process, so we don’t know when he will make his choice.
Kentucky and Ohio State are also starting to show interest. So the longer his recruitment goes on, the more that other schools can get involved. I still think the Cards have a great chance at landing Blakeney. For what it’s worth, his crystal ball prediction on 247sports.com has Louisville at 76% and Florida at 24%.
