Louisville football target Kalin Heath updated CSZ on his recruitment Saturday night. Heath is from Cartersville, Georgia and is listed on the major recruiting sites as a 3-star prospect. About two weeks ago, it was almost a sure thing that Heath was going to commit to the Cards. After speaking with Coach Petrino, he decided that he wanted to take his time and wait until June to commit anywhere. At the time, he said Louisville was still the leader, but it was just too soon for him to commit and make that decision. So where does he stand now in his recruitment?

Heath has a list of seven schools: Louisville, Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Kansas State, Iowa State, Indiana, and UNC Charlotte. Is there a leader? “Right now everyone is even until I visit all the schools,” Heath said. “I’d like to see how well I fit into all these schools.”

In order to get to a decision, Heath will have a VERY busy time in June as he wants to decide sometime then. So there are seven schools to see. That must take up a few different weekends right? Not so fast my friend. Heath says  “I’m going to see if I could do it in one trip. I’m going to stop in Louisville first, then go up to Indiana, then Cincinnati, then Iowa State, then Kansas State, and Mississippi State on the way back (home). I’m going to try and go to UNC Charlotte later.” That could be some weekend!

There are no dates yet for his visits to these schools. Stay tuned to CardinalSportsZone.com and follow us on twitter @CardSportsZone to stay updated with this recruitment.
