College World Series Schedule of Games

Berm fans were the best!

For the second year in a row, the Louisville Cardinals have made it to Omaha for the College World Series. They will take on Vanderbilt this Saturday at 8 p.m., ET on ESPN2. The Cards and Commodores are building quite the rivalry in baseball, and this will only fuel that. If you remember, Louisville went down to Nashville last year and beat Vanderbilt, who was the 2nd overall seed, to advance to Omaha.

The way the College World Series works is similar to having two separate Regionals. There are two brackets of 4 teams each, and the two winners of those “pods” will play in a best of 3 series for the championship. So in one bracket you have Louisville, Vanderbilt, Texas, and UC Irvine. In the other, you have Texas Tech and the winners of TCU/Pepperdine, Maryland/Virginia, and Mississippi, Louisianna-Lafayette. Those games will be played today so the field will be set after that. Here is the schedule for this year’s College World Series:

Saturday June 14

3:00 p.m., ET – Texas vs UC Irvine

8:00 p.m., ET – Louisville vs Vanderbilt

Sunday June 15

3:00 p.m., ET – Texas Tech vs TCU/Pepperdine

8:00 p.m., ET – Maryland/Virginia vs Ole Miss/Louisiana-Lafayette

Monday June 16

3:00 p.m., ET – Losing teams from Saturday

8:00 p.m., ET – Winning teams from Saturday

Tuesday June 17

3:00 p.m., ET – Losing teams from Sunday

8:00 p.m., ET – Winning teams from Sunday

Wednesday June 18

8:00 p.m., ET – Elimination game from Louisville’s bracket

Thursday June 19

8:00 p.m., ET – Elimination game from Texas Tech’s bracket

Friday June 20

3:00 p.m., ET – Winner’s bracket vs loser’s bracket teams

8:00 p.m., ET –¬†Winner’s bracket vs loser’s bracket teams

Saturday June 21

3:00 p.m., ET – Rematch from Friday if necessary (loser’s bracket team beats winner’s bracket team)

8:00 p.m., ET –¬†Rematch from Friday if necessary (loser’s bracket team beats winner’s bracket team)

Monday June 23

8:00 p.m. ET – College World Series Finals Game 1

Tuesday June 24

8:00 p.m. ET – College World Series Finals Game 2

Wednesday June 25

8:00 p.m. ET – College World Series Finals Game 3 (if necessary)
