Coach Petrino just said at his press conference that DeVante Parker will likely be out for 6-8 weeks. If that holds true, he would be back sometime around October 6-October 20. The Cards play Clemson October 11, NC State October 18, and Florida State October 30. He has a broken bone in his small toe, the fifth metatarsal. He will get operated on later today. He caught a simple pass and was tackled and felt something happen.
They chose to send him to North Carolina because that is the doctor that will be in the room at the NFL Combine when they go over the medical history of the players.
