The Louisville Cardinals picked up another commitment for the class of 2016 last night, and won a significant recruiting battle in the process. Michael Boykin, a 3-star defensive end from Carrollton, Georgia, committed to Louisville over Auburn. It was the third commitment since Thursday for the Cards, with the other two being Jawon Pass and T.J. Brunson.

Boykin measures around 6’6 and 255 lbs. On Sunday night, he revealed a top three (in order) of Auburn, Louisville, and Clemson. Other than those teams, Boykin also holds offers from Florida, Mississippi State, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Kentucky, and more.

Recruiting momentum is definitely in the Cards’ favor as of late.
