CBS writer list Montrezl as 1st Team All-American but says it’s wide open. Is it really though?

CBS College Basketball writer Gary Parrish says this will be one of the hardest years to come up with a preseason All-American list. While Parrish said there were many under consideration he did have Louisville’s Montrezl Harrell on his list of five.

G Fred VanVleet Wichita St.
G Marcus Paige N. Carolina
G Rondae Hollis-Jefferson Arizona
F Montrezl Harrell Louisville
F Jahlil Okafor Duke

 

One thing I do agree on with Parrish is, there is a plethora of talent in College Basketball this season. What I don’t agree with is that all five of these guys have a possible replacement. In my opinion Wichita State’s Fred VanVleet and our own Montrezl Harrell are clear cut 1st Team All-Americans.  Read the rest of this entry

Time and TV set for Louisville’s Game Thursday

The 4th seeded Louisville Cardinals will face off against the 13th seeded Manahttan Jaspers on Thursday night. The game will tip at approximately 9:50 pm and it will be shown on TNT. Here are the times and channels for the rest of the first round. And yes it is still the first round to me, not the “round of 64.”

We find out the tip times for Saturday at the end of Thursday and Sunday at the end of Friday. Fans will also be able to access the games through NCAA March Madness on Demand. NCAA March Madness on Demand will provide live streaming video of every game of the new 68-team tournament as they are broadcast by CBS Sports and Turner Sports.

All times ET, with the second window of each game slated for 30 minutes after the scheduled conclusion of the first game. So those start times are approximate.
