Bobby Petrino and his staff have been on a roll with landing commits lately. With so many camps being held over the summer, you never know when another one will happen. On Thursday, the Cards hosted 3-star running back Reggie Gallaspy for an unofficial visit. Gallaspy is from Greensboro, North Carolina and is rated as the 38th best running back in the country by 247 Sports.

When asked how his trip to Louisville went, Gallaspy told CSZ “It was great!” He told us back on June 7¬†that he didn’t have a list of favorites and that he wanted to take all of his visits before narrowing things down. He has been very busy lately, visiting 6 schools since June 12 (Louisville, Vanderbilt,¬†Illinois, Michigan State, West Virginia, and NC State).

June is a big month in the football recruiting world as teams hold different camps and recruits come to visit and get some work in. Louisville will have Reggie Gallaspy¬†Jr. on campus in a couple weeks. Across the four major recruiting sites, Gallaspy is rated as a 3-star prospect. He is listed at 5’11 and 205 lbs from Greensboro, North Carolina. ESPN ranks him as the 34th best running back in his class, 247 Sports has him as the 39th best, Rivals has him as the 36th best, and Scout has him as the 66th best. So that shows how much those sites can vary, but 3 out of 4 have him as a top 40 running back in the country.

“I’ll be visiting Louisville June 19th,” he told CSZ. It will be an unofficial visit. He also will unofficially visit Michigan State (June 16), Illinois (June 17), and Vanderbilt (June 18). That is all that is set up so far, but he also does plan to visit Syracuse, Boston College, and Arkansas.
