Keith Towbridge

Cardinal Sports Zone was the first to get an interview with UofL’s newest 2013 football commit, Keith Towbridge. Just minutes after he committed, he talked with us at CSZ. Towbridge is a Tight End from Ohio and is excited about playing for the Cards.

Tight End- Central Catholic High School

CSZ: What made you choose UofL?

Towbridge: I chose UofL because it’s a great program with great academics. They won the Big East last year, and I get to compete for early playing time. Also because it’s a BCS school.

CSZ: What do you think about Coach Strong and his staff?

Towbridge: Coach Strong and his staff are great. They are great coaches that know what they are talking about.

CSZ: How far can you see this UofL program going in the next few years?

Towbridge: I can see them doing big things in the next few years.

CSZ: What kind of player can fans expect to see?

Towbridge: They can see me make big plays with my catching and blocking.

CSZ: Is there any player you have tried to model your game after?

Towbridge: I’m a diverse player. I compare myself to Rob Gronkowski from the New England Patriots.

CSZ thanks Keith Towbridge for taking the time to talk with us right after he committed. Here is a 2011 Junior year highlight video. Let us just say, he looks like a beast out there!
