The Cards have recently inquired about 6’3 230 lbs JUCO QB Brett Nelson. Nelson completed 64% of his passes this year and threw for an average of 257 yards per game. Nelson would be a nice pickup for the Cards as he would provide much needed experience should Teddy go pro like many expect after next season. Gardner and Bolin will also be in the hunt for the next QB job at Louisville but with both coming off injures an extra QB would be nice. Nelson has also been hearing from Alabama.
