There are plenty of UofL sports in action on Friday, and the day is highlighted by a national power coming into town. Check out the full schedule of events below!
*Swimming & Diving
The Cards currently have the 15th ranked swimming & diving teams for both the men and women. On Friday, they will host the Indiana Hoosiers at the Ralph Wright Natatorium. Indiana is their toughest opponent so far this season. The IU men are ranked 8th and the women are ranked 13th. It is also Senior Day for the Cards, and festivities for that will begin at 4:30!
*Men’s Tennis
UofL (3-3) is ranked 41st in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings. They will take on #49 Wake Forest at 5:00 pm in Winston Salem, NC. Wake Forest enters the match with a 6-0 record.
*Women’s Tennis
The 4-0 Cards travel to Blacksburg, Virginia to take on Virginia Tech at 3:00 pm. The Hokies have a record of 2-0 and have been off for a week.
*Track & Field
Both the men and women’s teams will send about 40 athletes to compete in the Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Indiana on the campus of Notre Dame. The event begins Friday at 4:00 pm and will also continue on Saturday. There will be nearly 50 schools represented.
