Reggie Bonnafon’s Senior Year Journal: Opening scrimmage tonight!

Reggie Bonnafon

In case you did not know, 2014 Louisville QB commit Reggie Bonnafon (Trinity) has agreed to do a Senior Year Journal for CSZ. If you missed his first two entries, he wrote about the Elite 11 Camp and about attending UofL’s camp. In this edition, Bonnafon talks about the hard work he and his teammates have put in this summer and how ready he is to put that on display.

“These past two years I’ve had to sit back and wait my turn, which all of you know! And today is the day that all the time that I’ve sat out and watched is all going to pay off! Me and my team have been beating up on each other and going back and forth all summer long and today is the day that we can finally come together as a team and put it on somebody else for once!

I’ve been on some talented teams while I’ve been at Trinity and this team seems to have a special feeling, not because I’m playing Quarterback or because the people that have gone to college, but because of how hard we’ve worked and how much time we’ve put into getting better as a team. It has been outstanding!

Our green and white game went well and now it’s time to see how we stack up against Fort Thomas Highlands! As much as I’ve been focusing on our team at Trinity, I’ve always been checking Louisville out as well. I have gone to see them workout already during their camp and they seem to be coming along pretty well! I’ve been in contact with Coach Watson and Coach Strong and they are both excited to follow me this season and ready to see what my team and myself have in store!”

If you want to check out Bonnafon and the Trinity Shamrocks tonight, they host Fort Thomas Highlands at 7:00 pm in a scrimmage game!
