The 7th ranked Louisville Cardinals soccer team traveled to Bloomington tonight and defeated the defending NCAA National Champion Indiana Hoosiers by a whopping 3-0 score. Joachim Ball had a career high 7 saves en route to recording the 7th shutout of the season. The Cards have allowed only one goal in their last seven games. Zack Foxhoven scored a goal and had an assist as did Marlon Hairston. Junior Daniel Keller added the other goal. The Cards are now 9-2-1 on the season and with this win Louisville claims the overall series lead at 4-3-1. The Cards are on an eight game undefeated streak and return home to host AAC rival and Co-favorite Connecticut on Saturday at 7 p.m., ET at Cardinal Park.
