Freshman Paige Brown was named American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday. Brown helped guide the Cardinals to a 2-0 week in conference play for a 7-1-0 record.
Brown had a solid showing in goal for the Cardinals in their 2-0 weekend. After letting in only one goal in her team’s 3-1 win over Temple on Thursday, she rallied back to lead Louisville to a tight 3-2 win over UConn, making eight saves, a career high for the freshman
