According to Andrew Slater of 247 Sports, the Louisville Cardinals have offered a scholarship to 5-star shooting guard/small forward Tyus Battle. He is in the class of 2016 and is from Edison, New Jersey. He is listed at 6’5 and 190 lbs.
Battle visited UofL on Monday and obviously that visit went well. Since April 28, he has received offers from Louisville, Michigan, Florida, Wake Forest, and Maryland. He also holds offers from Syracuse, Indiana, UConn, Ohio State, Virginia, and many more. As of right now, Syracuse seems to be the leader.
-On 247 Sports, Battle is the 3rd best small forward in the class of 2016. They have him as the top player in New Jersey and the 11th best player overall.
–Rivals also has him as the 11th best player.
–ESPN has him as the 19th best player in the class, the top player in New Jersey, and the 4th best shooting guard in the class.
–Scout has him as the top shooting guard in the country and the 7th best player overall.
Battle will visit Kentucky on Tuesday.
