Bobby Petrino can never have enough quarterbacks. He just landed another one. Former Washington State quarterback Tyler Bruggman has told Insidetheville.com that he plans to transfer to Louisville. The redshirt freshman was a 4-star player in high school.

When Bruggman decided to leave Washington State, he was granted his release to Louisville, Arkansas, Duke, and Indiana. Of those four schools, Louisville was the one school that did not offer him a scholarship out of high school. But that didn’t seem to matter here, as it sounds like it wasn’t even a close race to land him.

At Washington State, Bruggman was set to compete for the backup spot this season, and then some thought he would spend the next 3 seasons as the starter.

Bruggman is the 5th player to transfer to Louisville since Bobby Petrino was hired. He joins defensive backs Shaq Wiggins ans Josh Harvey-Clemons (Georgia), wide receiver Jaquay Williams (Texas A&M), and quarterback Tyler Ferguson (Penn State).
