If you thought the end of basketball season meant the end of sports until football at UofL, you were WAY off. That reminds me of this, so why not throw it in there?

Saturday is a very busy day in University of Louisville athletics. Here is a quick rundown of what all is going on and how you can keep up.

*Football – The football team is holding a scrimmage today around 9:45 a.m.. Remember that all spring practices are open to the public. No word yet on if today will be held inside the Trager Center or out on the practice fields.

Football

*Baseball – The 7th ranked baseball team (22-7, 11-1) is on the road this weekend facing 9th ranked Virginia (19-9, 6-6). They will play today, tomorrow, and Monday. All three games can be heard on 93.3 The Ville. Monday’s game at 7 p.m. will be shown on ESPNU. Also for today, here is the gametracker to keep up with the game at 4 p.m..

*Softball – The softball team (22-10, 11-2) has a double-header today at Virginia Tech (26-9, 4-8) starting at noon. The second game will begin shortly after the first one ends. Virginia Tech beat the Cards last night on a walk-off homerun. Louisville will try to sweep the double-header today and win the series. Both games can be seen on ESPN3 today and here is the link for that.

*Women’s Lacrosse – I say this again. One of the most overlooked programs at UofL is the lacrosse program. It is only in its 8th season overall and the Cards are currently ranked 10th in the country with a record of 9-3 and 1-2 in the ACC. The two conference losses are to No. 3 Boston College and No. 4 Duke. The other loss on the season was to Northwestern when they were ranked 4th. What coach Kellie Young has done since the start of the program has been great.

Today, they host the 2nd ranked North Carolina Tar Heels for Senior Day at UofL Lacrosse Stadium. It starts at 1:00 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN3. You can also follow gametracker.

*Women’s Tennis – The women’s tennis team will host two matches today. They host No. 9 Virginia at 11 a.m. and then Western Kentucky at 4:30 p.m.. Both matches will be held at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

*Men’s Golf – The men’s golf team is playing in the Mason Rudolph Invitational today in Franklin, Tennessee.

*Women’s Golf – The women’s golf team is playing in the Bryan National Collegiate today in Greensboro, North Carolina.

*Track – The track team will be participating in the Florida Relays today in Gainesville, Florida.

*Women’s Rowing – The rowing team is competing in the Oregon State Classic in Corvallis, Oregon.

Go Cards in everything!
