USA Today Sports re-ranked all 128 teams in College Football (FBS of course) for the 2015 season. Louisville came in at #38. The two other in-state schools finished at #24 and #83. You don’t have to think too hard about which one is Western Kentucky and which is the other. Some other notes from the poll…

-UCF finished dead last, which is still enjoyable because of 2013. Nope, not over that loss at home yet.

-Louisville’s first opponent of 2016 is Charlotte, who is #124. So that is exciting. Lamar should run for 600 yards on Labor Day weekend.

-Here are a few schools that finished ahead of Kentucky (why not?): Georgia Southern (41), Arkansas State (48), Western Michigan (58), Central Michigan (68), Akron (72), Nevada (76), and San Jose State (80). Yikes.

-The big two in Louisville’s division, Clemson and Florida State, finished 2nd and 12th, respectively.

-Looking at the 5 teams Louisville lost to, Auburn finished lowest at #60.
