Cards Fly High
Coming off a nail-biting win over NC State, the Cardinals proved they are worthy to sit amongst the best; rising in the polls to No. 17.

Louisville also swept the ACC’s weekly awards as MariyaMoore and Asia Durr were both honored. Moore was named ACC Player of the Week for the second time this season and Durr was tabbed ACC Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career.

It comes as no surprise that the top-rated point guard in the 2015 class picked up another honor, earning the title of USBWA National Freshman of the Week. Durr is the first player in program history to earn the honor.

Durr averaged 15.5 points, 2.5 steals, and 2 rebounds, while connecting on 52.4% from the field and 6-of-9 from beyond the arc last week.

Moore averaged 21 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 2.5 steals in the victories over Virginia and NC State.
