David Padgett has been named interim head coach of the University of Louisville men’s basketball team. He was signed to a six month contract. David Padgett played for UofL from 2005-2008. He had previously been working as an assistant coach for the Cardinals. Padgett was a fan favorite while playing as a Card and the immediate favorite of most fans when the position became open. He was also the first choice of the current players on the team. We here at Cardinal Sports Zone are thrilled about this announcement and look forward to the season with David at charge.
