No surprise here. Asia Durr is your 2018 ACC Player of the Year.
The Douglasville, Georgia native was also tabbed the ACC Preseason Player of the Year.
The selection of Durr marks the second time in three years that a Louisville player has earned the title. In 2015-16, Myisha Hines-Allen took home the honor.
Durr is having one of the best seasons in program history. The junior guard ranks third in the ACC with 19.5 points per game, which also puts her at 40th nationally. She’s shooting nearly 45% from beyond the arc and had collected 98 three-pointers this season alone. Her 98 triples put her at the top of the ACC.
With 1,618 career points, Durr ranks ninth in school history.
