On Saturday night the Cards met up with Simmons College for their final exhibition of the year. Simmons was, not surprisingly, outmatched by Louisville’s size and talent. The Cards won by a score of 90-41, due in part to the fact that Simmons was held to just 12 points in the 1st half.

Louisville was led in scoring by Steven Enoch, who had 16 points. He was followed by Jordan Nwora and Malik Williams, with both chipping in 12 points each. Louisville scored 44 points in the paint thanks to both Enoch and Williams imposing their will in the post.

Overall, the Cards showed improvement, but it’s hard to put much stock in a game against an opponent like Simmons. The season officially starts next Thursday against Nicholls State.
