The Atlanta Tip-off Club announces that Louisville women’s basketball head Coach Jeff Walz is one of 15 coaches in the running for the 2019 Werner Ladder Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year.
Walz is in his 12th season at the helm of the Cardinals. During his tenure, Louisville has gone 324 – 98. Walz has led the Cardinals to eight Sweet Sixteen appearances, three Final Fours and two National Championship appearances.
Louisville is 25 – 2 on the season, 12 – 2 in the ACC.
