Louisville Baseball will once again host in the NCAA Tournament, as they have been selected to host a regional this season.
The selection marks the sixth time in the last seven years that the Cardinals will host at least one round in the NCAA Tournament. Louisville joins Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, North Carolina, Oregon State, Arkansas, East Carolina, UCLA, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State, and Stanford as regional hosts in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
The Cardinals will find out their opponents in their regional tomorrow at noon on the Selection Show, as well as whether or not they will be a top eight national seed. Louisville was recently projected to be the eighth overall seed in the tournament, according to d1baseball.com’s latest projections.
