This past Monday, Louisville Men’s Basketball players hosted an open gym for the fans. It featured them playing a number of pick up games, much as they had done last year. Also, as had been the case the prior year, it featured some recruits who were on campus for official visits. This Saturday, before UofL Football battles EKU, there will be another open gym.

Malik Williams took to Twitter again to announce that the team would “run it back.” The gym will open Saturday at 12:30 pm and the pick up games will start at 1 pm. It’s yet another chance to get an up close and personal look at Team 106 as they work their way to a season that is expected to be a big one.
This weekend there is only one official visitor for UofL Men’s Basketball in the person of Deivon Smith, a 4 star G out of GA. Smith is scheduled to be on campus starting tomorrow. It’s a good bet that Smith will be playing in these pick up games if the past open gyms are any indication.
So, before you head out to tailgate, stop by the Kueber Center to watch your Cards and get a small taste of what awaits this basketball season.
