Postgame Pressers: Louisville Vs. South Carolina Upstate (Video)

Louisville Men’s Basketball struggled most of their game against South Carolina Upstate last night. However, they responded like the number 2 team in college basketball should and ended up winning in easy fashion 76-50.

Jordan Nwora scored 28 points, Dwayne Sutton grabbed 15 rebounds, and Darius Perry dished out 9 assists. However, the true highlight of the game involved the returns of freshman G David Johnson and junior F/C Malik Williams. Williams is one of the team captains and Johnson was in line for immediate major minutes before both were hampered by injuries. They played well in their first minutes of this still young season.

Coach Chris Mack, Williams, and Johnson all spoke to the media after the game. Coach Mack discussed the defensive effort, the returns of Malik Williams and David Johnson to the lineup, and the stellar play of Dwayne Sutton, among other topics. Malik and David discussed a few topics. Among them, how it felt to play their first minutes after returning from injury, if they learned anything while being forced to watch from the bench, and how they were feeling physically after the game.
