Louisville Head Football Coach Scott Satterfield made an appearance on The Today Show this morning. He spoke with anchor Craig Melvin about college football and the effects the pandemic is having on it.
Coach Satterfield mentioned that the ACC is intent on moving forward with the season as of right now. He also acknowledged that they are doing everything by the protocols set forth by medical professionals both at UofL and in the ACC. For the first time we were given numbers of football players that have tested positive. According to Coach Satterfield, it was only 4 out of 115 since the team began returning to campus in early June.
Coach Satterfield acknowledged that if medical professionals deemed it to risky to play the season and advised him or the conference to shut it down, they would do so.
