UofL Great Teddy Bridgewater Named Starting QB For Denver Broncos

Teddy Bridgwater will remain a starting QB in the NFL. After being traded by Carolina to Denver in the offseason, Bridgwater beat out former second  round pick Drew Lock for the job.

Bridgewater started 15 games for Carolina last year and did a very admirable job considering he didn’t have his number 1 weapon Christian McCaffrey. He threw for 3733 yards and 15 TDs, averaging 248.9 yards per game. However, Teddy did throw 11 interceptions. Bridgewater did complete 69.1-percent of his passes.

While Teddy may not throw the ball all over the field like a Pat Mahomes or a Josh Allen, he is a very cerebral QB that can pick apart a defense. He also plays with a ton of heart and is a born leader. Hopefully, Teddy can reward Vic Fangio, the Broncos, his teammates, and himself with victories. I, for one, believe he will.
