Louisville MBB Has Paused All Team Activities, Rivalry Game Postponed

The pandemic unfortunately is causing havoc again as Louisville men’s basketball has been forced to pause all activities within its men’s basketball program due to positive Covid tests. This was discussed on our newest episode of the CSZ Podcast. Much like last season, the team cannot practice or hold any meetings of any type until the Covid outbreak is under control. There was no word on who actually tested positive for the virus within the program.

This has forced the postponement of the annual rivalry game with uk that was set for this Wednesday. It has not officially been canceled as the athletic departments for both schools are looking for opportunities within their schedules to actually play the game.

Below, you can read the press release from UofL announcing the pause.
