Single tickets for the 2017-2018 non-conference UofL Men’s basketball season will go on sale tomorrow, October 18th, at 10 AM. They will vary between $35 and $40 and this excludes the Indiana game, which will be $85. Tickets can be purchased at the UofL Ticket Office at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium or online at http://www.TicketMaster.com.
Contrary to popular belief, UofL is not the only school being hit hard by the fallout of the FBI investigation into college basketball. The Associated Press asked 84 schools how they are handling the investigations, and 63 schools responded. Former TCU, LSU and Stanford coach, Trent Johnson was officially named as the assistant of the UofL Men’s Basketball team. Jonshon was let go from TCU in March of 2016, but everyone surrounding the program had nothing but positive things to say about his integrity and character.
“His record won’t be deemed a success. But Trent Johnson’s time at TCU won a lot of people over because of the way he conducted himself and ran his program.” – Gil Lebreton with Star-Telegram.

From the moment the latest scandal involving UofL basketball broke, it felt like everything crashed within seconds. Anfernee Simons who is ranked in the top 10 nationally withdrew his commitment to UofL shortly after the news broke, and has since been reached out to by 27 different schools. Simon’s mom has said they are open to hearing from David Padgett, but that it hasn’t happened yet. Courtney Ramey was another player who decommitted in the days following the scandal, and he will be Padgett’s first focus. David travels to St. Louis to visit him today.
