Alexander And Jackson Earn Associated Press Honors

Football season is quickly approaching, and the University of Louisville Football team is still receiving preseason recognition. Junior, Jaire Alexander adds to his long list of preseason nods, by being named to the first team Associated Press’ All American. Fellow junior and reigning Heisman winner, Lamar Jackson, was named to the second team. You can see them both in action in less than two weeks at Lucas Oil Stadium against the Purdue Boilermakers on September 2nd at 7 PM.

Tutu Atwell Commits To UofL


Tonight we picked up another commit to BirdGang18. Tutu Atwell Jr. is a 3 star athlete out of Northwestern High School. AKA, the same high school also produced another famous Louisville Cardinal who wore the number 5, Teddy Bridgewater. Tutu is a dual threat quarterback that will more than likely move to reciever in Louisville’s offense. He is very talented!

Russ Smith is currently playing in China, averaging 57.7 points per game. Let me say that again, Russ Smith is averaging 57.7 points per game in China. At one point this year, he was averaging 61.2. That is just flat out RussdiculousYet somehow, the NBA scouts aren’t taking much notice. Russ sat down with YARON WEITZMAN  of Bleacher Report and talked about the rollercoaster he has been on since he graduated from the University of Louisville. UofL, WKU Resume Basketball Series

The University of Louisville announced today that they will resume the basketball series with Western Kentucky University starting in 2018. The series was always nice to have on the schedule, you get a in-state school who is in an above average mid major conference. That is, until they threw punches at our boy Trezl and the series wasn’t renewed. It is good to see things have calmed down between the two programs and we can move forward with the games. UofL and WKU currently play in baseball every year and football will begin a series from 2018-2020.

Louisville Football Flips 4 Star Wide Receiver

Louisville Football receives a big time commitment today from 4 star Wide Receiver, Manuel Allen. He has been verbally committed to Nebraska since April. Top247 had him listed as the 36th receiver in the nation.
