What If The Big 12 Had Taken Louisville

Shout out to my boy Chris Clamon for showing me this article. A great read to enjoy on the way to Clemson. I wouldn’t be on my way to this game if we were in the Big 12 so thank you for making a huge mistake. The article says, “Five years ago next month, Jurich and his athletic program became one of the biggest losers in the last big conference realignment merry-go-round. The Big 12 chose West Virginia over Louisville.” Well, as it turns out we are not the losers. Jurich and all of Louisville are smiling now.

Conference realignment has reared it’s ugly head again this summer. This time it’s Notre Dame jumping to the ACC, joining the mass exodus of teams leaving the Big East for supposed greener ($$) pastures in other leagues. Most major college fans are safe in the conference carousal – their teams are already well established in traditional leagues. However, that is not the case for a supporter of the Louisville Cardinals.
