If I had thought about doing this post sooner, I could have done more research and had more stats to give and really looked into how these guys played against Louisville. But since we play in less than 6 hours, I need to go ahead and post this… defines “villain” in the following way:

: a character in a story, movie, etc., who does bad things

: a person who does bad things

: someone or something that is blamed for a particular problem or difficulty

Over the years of watching UofL basketball, you always seem to have those players on opposing teams that you just don’t like. Maybe they are good kids, but they just had great games against the Cards and that bothers you. Maybe they acted like punks and pushed people around. It could be someone that only faced the Cards once, or faced them many times as a member in the same conference. You can have your own reasons.

DeMarcus Cousins Ejected…Again

Yes, this is a University of Louisville blog. However, since DeMarcus Cousins was voted as our most disliked UK player of all time, his antics can be newsworthy for us, right? Well he was at it again on Tuesday night against the Rockets as he got his 14th and 15th technicals of the season, which lead the league. So congrats on that stat. His next technical will result in a one game suspension. He led the league last year with 17, so at least he is consistent.

DeMarcus Cousins still doesn’t like to shake hands

DeMarcus Cousins

DeMarcus Cousins apparently does not like to shake hands. Or he just really really dislikes the Clippers. The latest victim is J.J. Reddick.

In case you missed this one from a couple weeks ago, he doesn’t like his teammates shaking hands with Chris Paul either.

DeMarcus Cousins doesn’t like to shake hands

DeMarcus Cousins

Our favorite Kentucky player of all time (right?) DeMarcus Cousins proved on Saturday night that he has grown up since his days at Kentucky. He has matured, and is a better man and is worth all of that money that the Kings gave him this past off-season. Need more proof?

He can learn a lesson from Gunner Stahl from Team Iceland.

DeMarcus Cousins ejected…at halftime?

DeMarcus Cousins

By Justin Renck:

Leading up to the UofL-UK basketball game this season, we conducted an unofficial poll of UofL fans’ most disliked UK player ever. The winner? DeMarcus Cousins. He still hasn’t seemed to grow up, and here is proof. He was ejected during halftime of a game Monday night. He now has 12 technicals, 4 away from an automatic suspension. So that is what? Just a couple of games away???

By Justin Renck:

According to our non-official twitter poll, the fans have spoken. Many players were mentioned, but the overwhelming choice for the most disliked player for UK goes to DeMarcus Cousins! That is pretty impressive that he was able to capture this title and he only played for 1 season at UK.
