Relive some of the best moments of ESPN’s College GameDay from Saturday’s visit to the University of Louisville.
ESPN’s College Gameday’s hosts, Rece Davis and Lee Corso sat down with the media on Friday before the big match up on Saturday. See what they had to say in the video below.
Dick Vitale has made it clear that he believes Lamar Jackson is the spark that the Cards need to beat Clemson tomorrow evening! You can see the full video below. It’s gonna be awesome babyyyyy!
2 more sleeps until game day. Until then, here is an awesome video by Mark Powell with 12UP to help you get through the end of the work week.
Few things can get Clemson fans riled up more than saying how Lamar Jackson deserved the Heisman last year. Not Deshaun Watson. Dabo Swinney on the other hand, thinks Lamar is unbelievable. We most certainly do not disagree. Listen to the full press conference below and hear all of the praises Coach Swinney gave to UofL.
Saturday is almost here. Are you ready for it? The fine folks at the University of Louisville have prepared a highlight video to get you ready for the Blackout!
Since Louisville joined the ACC, they have squared off with Clemson 3 times. Twice in Death Valley and once at PJCS. Clemson has come out on top in all 3 of these games by a combined total of 15 points. Each game has come down to the final possession – And so a rivalry is born. Read the rest of this entry

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Saturday’s football game between a pair of top-15 teams Louisville and Clemson is being moved to primetime, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Sunday.

ESPN’s College GameDay Built by the Home Depot is broadcasting from the University of Louisville for the second time in as many seasons on Saturday, showcasing a top-15 matchup between Louisville and defending national champion Clemson.
The Cardinals, currently ranked No. 17 in the latest Associated Press poll, welcome No. 3 Clemson for a 3:30 p.m. kick on Sept. 16 in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
It is finally here, the most wonderful time of the year. Football season in the Ville is one of the most electrifying times the city sees. There is something different about this season though, and I can’t seem to put my finger on it. I am not sure if it is because we have the greatest quarterback in the country playing for us, or if is because I know this team has the ability to make a deep run this year. Regardless of what it is, I am ready for it.
Football has always been a big part of the Goben family life. We haven’t missed a regular season game or bowl game, in I don’t know how many years. I remember when UofL was in the 2004 Liberty Bowl and it was just supposed to be the “adults” going to the actual game, but I somehow got a ticket. It wasn’t near as cold as it had been in years past, but I was still freezing of course, but I never mentioned it. I didn’t want to ruin my chances of going to another game in the future. So I sat there, in this huge, jersey (see above photo), and just soaked it all in. Now, fast forward 9 years when we won the Sugar Bowl, you’d think my family had won the lottery. It will always be one of my favorite memories. I can’t wait to see what havoc we raise when we make it to the Playoffs.
While we were doing the Cardinal Sports Zone show this morning on ESPN 93.9FM THE VILLE, (cheap pop) I saw a video clip come on GameDay. It was about Lamar Jackson & his rise to stardom. I got home and watched it & knew I had to share. I hope you enjoy.

Hi my name is Jeremy. I enjoy watching highlight videos about the University of Louisville. In the past few years one guy has made it almost impossible to even click on another person’s work. This one guy can leap over a building & is faster than a speeding bullet, maybe. He is the one and only Crums Revenge.
He made me a little nervous Saturday for a very good yet superstitious reason. Normally at the site of a big game we run into each other unplanned. Final Four: check. National Championship: check. Sugar Bowl: check. Cases to prove this point: Atlanta kickoff: didn’t see him. Clemson last year & FSU the year before, same. So when I didn’t see my little buddy Saturday I was worried sick. Then the game started. My nerves were quickly eased as I felt confident from the first touchdown that we wouldn’t look back. Let me get back on topic though.
Crums promised us an epic video journey and he delivered. He always does. It befuddled me that he doesn’t do this for a living. I cannot wrap my head around this. He is happy doing what he does so who cares? If you aren’t already, follow him on twitter: @CrumsRevenge. This video was the greatest. Because like Ali, Crums is the greatest. I hope you enjoy: GameDay
After much speculation about GAMEDAY coming to Louisville for the September 17th game vs. Florida State, it’s finally official. No word if the game time has changed or where they will set up the studio but I assume all the details will be released on or before Monday evening. Official release below the videos under click more.
I told you guys yesterday that one thing that I try to do with the members of CardNation is stay interactive. I follow everyone back on Twitter, answer every question and talk to everyone no matter what time of the day I get hit with a random DM on twitter. I feel like that’s important, and a part of what sets us apart from a majority of the other sites out there. I wanted to do a game week story about what you all were feeling about Sunday and what was your favorite gameday rituals or things to do. I DM’d several people that I converse with the most and asked for their input. I hope you guys enjoy reading what everyone thought. I will be releasing these every day this week so email me at @JSWahman723@aol.com if you want to be a part of it. Todays participants include Twitter favorites: @BricksDF, @CrumsRevenge from TheCrunchZone.com, @HollyGirl88, @C_Evans41 and last but not least @Lvilleshawn…enjoy!
P.S. We aren’t responsible for what Bricks says…lol
