Greg Minor recently sat down with Drew Stephens and discussed his time at UofL, time in the NBA, the injury and what he has been up to lately. Take a look below for the full story!
“Trusting your gut instincts is one of the more important keys to life, from my experience. Knowing what I know now, my late teens and early 20s were full of optimism and life choices that counter trusting your gut. Selecting the University of Louisville was purely trusting my gut instincts. It was the right choice looking back…”
This is a pretty cool graphic that shows all 22 first round NBA draft picks in UofL history. We have only had one #1 pick and that was Pervis Ellison back in 1989. Three times, we have had two first round picks. 2009 was Terrence Williams and Earl Clark. 1994 was Clifford Rozier and Greg Minor. 1989 was Pervis Ellison and Kenny Payne. A lot of history and great players all on one picture here. As always, Go Cards!
Are you kidding me? You can actually watch the Red-White Scrimmage from the 1993-94 season for UofL basketball! I saw this posted on Facebook by Jon Leon. I was 7 years old heading into this season so these are the guys I really looked up to and wanted to be like. My favorite player of all time, Brian Kiser, was on this team.
DeJuan Wheat was a freshman, and then you have guys like Morton, Minor, and Rozier. The video obviously isn’t the best quality, but it is pretty awesome to be able to watch it at all. Plus John Tong is the PA announcer. This game was at Cardinal Arena. If that doesn’t tell you how far these scrimmages have come, nothing will!
