LOUISVILLE, Ky. For the second-straight day, rain played havoc with the University of Louisville football practice schedule.
With practice delayed for about 15 minutes to let a storm pass through the area, the veterans took the field and looked more comfortable, and with shoulder pads coming on for the first time, the speed and intensity of practice was elevated to a different level.
Here is how the former Cards performed in the NFL this week. Keep in mind that these are just the skill players. Bilal Powell had a great performance for the New York Jets and Josh Bellamy made his NFL debut with the Kansas City Chiefs!

Michael Bush (Chicago Bears): 7 carries; 39 yards
Elvis Dumervil (Denver Broncos): 2 tackles (both solo); 1 QB hit
David Akers (SF 49ers): 2/3 FG Long of 33; 1/1 XP
