Louisville Lacrosse VS Northwestern: One More Time

I have been a Louisville Lacrosse fan for about 3 years now. It is a sport that has only been around since 2008 but a sport the University of Louisville has been on the verge of jumping into the upper echelon for the past 3 years. There has been a speed bump in front of them however. That speed bump goes by the name of Northwestern University. They ended Louisville’s season the last two post-seasons with the Wildcats eliminating the Cardinals in the second round of the 2014 tournament, 11-8, and in the first round last year, 10-7. I guess it is just not a LAX post season without UL vs N’Western. Louisville did crush them 10-4 in Louisville earlier in the season. Let’s get behind this young juggernaut because in my opinion the only thing keeping UofL from being perennial top 5 program is time & opportunity. Good Luck & Go Cards!

Check out this awesome video from the weekend!

Historic Win For #11 Louisville Lacrosse

I will admit it. I watch Louisville Lacrosse. That feels better. I have thoroughly enjoyed this season more so than those of years past because of multiple reasons. One is Hunger. This team is hungry to continue building on a resume that just keeps getting better. The Cards notched a victory over their 3rd straight top 15 opponent with a chance at getting 4 straight when they travel to Duke on Saturday. Another is determination. They avenged a loss in the NCAA’s to Northwestern this week prior to defeating #5 Notre Dame. Lastly it is excellence. They are off to the best start in school history at 7-0. I know a lot of you will turn your attention to Baseball & Women’s Hoops the next few weeks/months but I suggest you give Lacrosse a chance as well. This may be the most special season yet. Click on the for more box below to read the press release.

Go Cards!
