How to Watch: Kickoff at noon on ESPN
Spread: Louisville -7 (Bovada)
Last Time: The Cards played against Mississippi State in a four-year stretch from 1973-76, losing all four games. However, due to alleged NCAA violations, the Bulldogs were forced to vacate their wins in 1975 & 1976.
The Bulldogs technically lead the series 4-0, but due to the violations, this leaves the series tied at 2-2.
Louisville football target Kalin Heath updated CSZ on his recruitment Saturday night. Heath is from Cartersville, Georgia and is listed on the major recruiting sites as a 3-star prospect. About two weeks ago, it was almost a sure thing that Heath was going to commit to the Cards. After speaking with Coach Petrino, he decided that he wanted to take his time and wait until June to commit anywhere. At the time, he said Louisville was still the leader, but it was just too soon for him to commit and make that decision. So where does he stand now in his recruitment?
Heath has a list of seven schools: Louisville, Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Kansas State, Iowa State, Indiana, and UNC Charlotte. Is there a leader? “Right now everyone is even until I visit all the schools,” Heath said. “I’d like to see how well I fit into all these schools.”
