Defensive Back Terrence Ross Suspended From Team



Some disappointing news broke late on Sunday night regarding a UofL football player. Terrence Ross, a redshirt sophomore from Apopka, Florida, was arrested on drug an assault charges and has been suspended from the team.

Freshman Terrence Ross has torn ACL

It is nearly impossible for a team to make it through an entire football camp and not have any injuries. The Cards learned of a big one yesterday to a talented freshman. Safety Terrence Ross posted this picture on his Instagram account, confirming that he has a torn ACL.

Ross is 6’1 186 lbs from Apopka, Florida. As a senior in high school, he played in the FACA (Florida Athletic Coaches Association) North-South All Star game. He was named MVP of the North team in that game. (Richard Benjamin, another incoming UofL freshman, was MVP of the South)

We wish Ross a speedy recovery.

Football: UofL commits are All-Star game MVPs

Last night was the FACA (Florida Athletic Coaches Association)┬áNorth-South All-Star game in Sebring, Florida. The South won the game 25-14, but it was a couple of future Louisville Cardinals that stood out.┬áThe South’s MVP was Tampa Bay Tech’s Richard Benjamin, who had 3 interceptions. He also plays wide receiver, but is expected to join UofL as a cornerback.
