I really am going to try and make this quick. I don’t have too much time right now, and if I don’t get this posted now, it will be very late tonight before I can get to it. I prefer to go ahead and knock it out, and move on from this game. So here are a few quick thoughts after the 71-67 loss to Michigan State…
On Wednesday night at 7:15, the Louisville Cardinals (5-0) will face their toughest opponent of the young 2015-16 season when they take on Michigan State (7-0) in a true road game, which is somewhat rare for big-time non-conference games.

2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Midwest Regional
For just the fourth time, Indianapolis will host an NCAA Men’s Basketball Regional. The event features two “Sweet 16” games on Friday, with the two winners meeting Sunday in the “Elite Eight.” The winner of that game advances to the NCAA Men’s Final Four in Atlanta.
The Indianapolis region is loaded with the big-named coaches. Here is some other information on the teams that will be playing this weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium!
As soon as the brackets were announced on Selection Sunday, Cards fans realized that we could possibly face Michigan State. This was a big deal because when UofL was the overall #1 seed in 2008-2009, it was the Spartans that eliminated the Cards. Sure, California and Morehead State have eliminated UofL the last 2 seasons, but the Michigan State one stuck out more, because that was supposed to be our year. We won the Big East regular season, the Big East Tournament, and were primed for a Final Four run. Last night, it was time for revenge…
