Of course after the title of the story I am going to serve you this picture first. I was there and still feel chills every time I watch the game. I have been watching it a lot lately. I digress.. I just wanted to do something to help you through the tournament season. How will you handle it? Some people just aren’t gonna watch. Others like Steve will be in full SeaWolves gear tonight trying to talk me into chest bumping every basket. I got up this morning very aware that we weren’t in the tournament so I started to think of some happy times to ease the pain.
New development tonight on the UofL Football OC hunt. WVU WR coach Lonnie Galloway is rumored to be the selection. Here are some of his accolades: (via WVUsports.com)
- Has 20 years of collegiate coaching experience with five bowl appearances
- Named the 2010 Big East Recruiter of the Year by ESPN.com
- Recruited and coached former Mountaineer Tavon Austin, recruited Bruce Irvin and coached Kevin White – All three were All-Americans and first-round NFL Draft picks
- West Virginia has had four receivers drafted since 2012, tops in the nation
According to the Indianapolis Star Louisville is one of the many schools that has reached out to WVU transfer Eron Harris.
“The 6-3 Harris averaged 17.2 points per game as a sophomore at West Virginia and shot 42 percent from the 3-point line. Harris, who will have to sit out next season as a transfer, said he is looking to get closer to home and any number of schools”
“Harris’ father, Eric Harris, said this afternoon that a number of schools have already been in contact today. The list includes Michigan, Michigan State, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Notre Dame, Butler, New Mexico and UCLA.”
The Indianapolis native Harris would have to sit one year and would have 2 years eligibility remaining. Defiantly something to keep an eye on.
