Gameday Recap: Louisville Vs. Coppin State

The Louisville men’s basketball team improved to 2-1 on the season with a 61-41 win over Coppin State at home on Wednesday night. It is the largest margin of victory for head coach Kenny Payne since he took over at the start of last season.

Despite the loss to Chattanooga last week, Louisville was still heavily favored on Wednesday night and mostly took care of business against an inferior opponent. It was not always pretty, but the Cards are 2-1 as they leave home for the first time this season. Their biggest test of the non-conference schedule awaits this weekend in New York.
