UofL Football fans can catch a glimpse of a promising future tonight at 6 pm on ESPN2. Signees Robert Hicks III and Chandler Jones will play in the Under Armour All-America game at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.

Hicks is a highly touted ILB who looks physically ready to step in and play a big role for UofL next year. He is a physical beast with great instincts and speed to burn. Hicks is a triple threat because he can play zone coverage, rush the passer, and be a wall through which no opposing RB can pass. UofL can definitely use him with the departure of Stacy Thomas.

He maintains that he loved his time at the University of Louisville but after having to take a medical red shirt for this season, he wants to use his last year of eligibility at a school he will get more playing time at. We here at Cardinal Sports Zone wish him nothing but the best for Jeremy moving forward and thank him for the last three years.

Jurich’s Performance Reviews Come With High Regard

Tom Jurich

The University of Louisville fired athletic director Tom Jurich with just cause. What is that cause? Postel and other members of the board of trustees have condemned Tom of being a bully, and having little to no transparency while he held the position. Elaine Wise, chairperson of the department of humanities, begs to differ. In her performance review of Tom Jurich, she had nothing but praise and compliments regarding his leadership skills and abilities. You can read the full story below courtesy of the Courier Journal.

Now, he is fighting to find his spot on an NFL roster.
