James Scott Commits to Louisville

The Fayetteville, North Carolina native appeared in 35 games during his true freshman season, starting in four of those outings. Scott earned All-CAA Freshman honors averaging 5 ppg on a gobsmacking 79% shooting, as well as 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.

In the opening round March Madness matchup between Alabama and College of Charleston, the big man racked up 11 points in 19 minutes. He added 3 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.

James Scott Highlights

Being one of the youngest players in Division I during his freshman campaign, the upside is off the charts with Scott. He has the qualities needed for modern day bigs with his exceptional length and athleticism.

Scott brings a lob-threat off the pick-and-roll the Cardinals haven’t had in years, looking to inflict damage on the rim every chance he gets. He has a high motor and excels at hitting the offensive glass for second chance opportunities.

The momentum of the new era looks to keep rolling with James Madison transfer guard Terrence Edwards Jr. on campus visiting this coming Tuesday.
