Why I Can’t Wait For Our First Season In The AAC (Not A Typo)

Hadn’t busted that pic out in a long time, long overdue. Here’s why I can’t wait for our first season in the AAC. I know when most of you all read that you thought I was sleep deprived or joking or on meds. Truth be told though I am ecstatic. For almost 50 years in Basketball and only 17 years in football we have been athletics version of a military family. Moving from conference to conference to conference. Heck, in football you could even say we were just flat-out alone until 1996. But one thing we can all agree on is no matter what, we have and will always love our Cards.

Johnny Football Kicked Out of Texas Frat Party

Teddy Bridgewater has a great chance to take home the Heisman Trophy this year and his biggest competition just keeps making things easier on him. Johnny Manziel has been the talk of the College Football Summer but it hasn’t been for anything he has done good. Manziel has been living the rock star life style to the fullest and expressing his feelings on Twitter about everything from other players to College Station. Just recently Manziel was “Dismissed” from the Manning Camp which isn’t something you typically should be hearing from a Heisman Trophy Winner. All of this has made Manziel anything but a fan favorite and this weekend when he attempted to attend a University of Texas Frat party (See Pic Above) they made sure to let him know he wasn’t welcomed. According to ESPN.COM Article  Manziel was “Quickly and Harshly” removed from the party. This is just another example of why I believe Teddy Bridgewater is superior to Manziel on and off the field and these antics make you appreciate a Class Act kid just as Bridgewater. So in the mean time Manziel you just keep doing this:

Help make “The Rivalry: Red V. Blue” Happen!

If there is 1 thing that Cards and Cats fans can agree on, it’s that this is the best rivalry in all of college sports. Don’t you want to see all of the details of this rivalry played out in a documentary? You can help make that happen! Even if you donate just $1, every little bit counts to get this project funded and completed.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to have an ESPN 30 for 30 on our rivalry? It would give us so much pride to be able to show the rest of the country what we already know.

You can donate to this project by clicking here and choosing how much you would like to give.

Louisville goes full staff for 2014 PF (Highlights)

The entire Louisville basketball staff was there to watch 4* PF Jaylen Johnson today according to @DoriansPride. Johnson is a 6’9 PF out of Michigan with a very versatile skill set. Johnson was on the Louisville campus not to long ago and came away very impressed and since that time Pitino has tracked his progress a various tournaments, but now Johnson seems to be moving up Pitino’s wish list. And when you have a sequence like this: 4 star PF Jaylen Johnson assists on a dunk, jams one down himself, takes a charge and then gets another bucket. Team now up five (@CmAnderson247) its easy to see why Pitino loves Jaylen’s game. Johnson currently holds offers from Louisville, Iowa St, Maryland, Michigan St, Arizona St, Cincinnati, FSU, USC, Vandy, and VCU with many more offers sure to come. Pitino is positioned to take more than 1 PF and whether Johnson is one of them or not the interest is there from both sides and Jaylen Johnson is a name to keep close eye on.
