LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Four University of Louisville football practice dates will be open to the public, head coach Bobby Petrino announced on Saturday.
The first day for the community to attend practice will be Friday (Aug. 5) at 8:50 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. followed by a 3 p.m. workout on Saturday (Aug. 6).
The final two open practices for the fall will be Aug. 9 at 3:50 p.m. and Aug. 16 at 9 a.m. All times are subject to change.

Lamar Jackson can run. Lamar Jackson can pass. I don’t think there isn’t much Lamar can’t do on the football field. Off the field he is pretty cool too. He handled my niece very well considering she wasn’t nearly as excited as my brother to meet him.
Athlon Sports released its predictions for wins, off/def players of the year, games to watch, best coaches, etc. I don’t agree with a lot of it but I found Athlons perspective interesting. Most of you have heard that the Big 12 conference has begun research into expanding from 10 teams to possibly 12 or 14. Pretty soon there will just be the power 5 conferences and then everybody else. What if Louisville was one of those left out of the power 5? Where would we be and what would happen to our academic and athletic programs? Three Cards Selected to All-ACC Preseason Squad
The three members on the preseason squad were the most for the Cardinals since joining the league in 2014.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville football team had three players selected to the 2016 Atlantic Coast Conference Preseason Team announced Wednesday by the conference office.
The team was selected by a vote of 191 media members who were credentialed for last week’s ACC Football Kickoff in Charlotte.
Three defensive players – linebackers Keith Kelsey and Devonte Fields and defensive tackle DeAngelo Brown were selected to the All-ACC squad for the first time. The three members were the most for the Cardinals since joining the league in 2014.
