I seen this tweet earlier from Brandon Radcliff to Teddy Bridgewater:
This is just one of a plethora of reasons to love and tout Teddy Bridgewater. He didn’t want to get to the league only to make a lot of money. He wanted to make it to the league to make a difference. Teddy is a prime example of Louisville First Cardinal Forever. Thanks for being a great human in a time where all we hear about are bad humans doing bad things.
I got home and checked my e-mail. I do this every day after I get home from work and or the gym. I subscribe to the ACC Digital Network on YouTube. I get a lot of messages from them throughout any given day but when it is UofL stuff I post it. I seen the title: Lamar Jackson Is A Beast. It would have been easy to title this story that. It took me exactly 12 seconds into the video to figure out that was an understatement. He was ranked 401st in his class. I had no idea but I felt like that would be enough to grab your attention. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did. I am hungry for Louisville Football and this satisfied my hunger….for the moment.
The following are a compilation of tweets about the press conference today as I was working and not able to attend myself. Enjoy!
Jeff Fischel of the ACCDN dives into the rise of Louisville Football behind the leadership of Petrino & Jurich. It appears that the ACC has taken notice and we won’t be sneaking up on anybody. Football season can’t get here soon enough.
Here is footage from the presser yesterday involving Corey Ray after the NCAA Baseball Tournament field was revealed. The video was taken by CSZ Baseball correspondent Justin Krueger. Enjoy!

Here is the schedule for the Louisville baseball regional starting this Friday:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the fourth consecutive season and the sixth time in eight years, Jim Patterson Stadium will serve as a host site for the opening weekend of postseason baseball as the University of Louisville was selected by the NCAA Division I Selection Committee as one of 16 regional hosts for the 2016 NCAA Baseball Championship.

In a follow up to last weeks awesome story involving Obadiah Gamble aka Skolbadiah, Teddy Bridgewater decided to do a little video with the 6 year old from Minnesota. The remix of Hey Teddy is real cool and it continues to give us reasons to be proud of the University of Louisville graduate. Rose Bridgewater, you have raised a fine young man. Go Cards!
It is no secret that Devante Parker was one of the best receivers EVER at the University of Louisville. Of course you can throw in guys like Deion Branch, Mario Urrutia, Harry Douglas or even an unheralded guy like Lavell Boyd (I did not include LB because he was in my wedding but because he deserved the mention) who is top 10 all-time in almost every category. I am certain I left a few out and just as certain you will tweet me at @Jeremy_CSZ and tell me. Devante undeniably changed the game for the Cards. A deep threat that you could just throw it up to or a guy you could throw a jump ball to in the end zone from 10 yards away and he was just flat-out go get it. Enough of what he did at Louisville though. The rookie WR in Miami had a rough time due to injuries. This year will be different. He will be healthy and ready to go from 1 to 100 straight out of the gate. This week QB Ryan Tannehill had some great things to say about our Cardinal Forever:
Welcome to a special Memorial Day edition of Cardinal Catch-Up. We will go over just a few things this morning to catch you up on the state of the Cardinal Athletic World. Also showing the patriotic jerseys in the pick above give us another chance to take a shot at uk. Lol. JK, BNR. I digress.
We at CardinalSportsZone.com extend a huge thanks to all of the people, here and gone, that fought for our country.
The Cards had a rough ACC Tournament falling to both Clemson and Virginia behind abnormally bad efforts by aces Brendan McKay & Drew Harrington. Yesterday for Harrington, 6 straight hits to open up the 5th and the highest amount of runs allowed in a single inning by Louisville all season was just too much to overcome. The Cards will officially find out tonight at 8:30 that they are a national seed. Tomorrow at noon on ESPNU the entire field will be announced. To catch a full recap of yesterdays game, click here. So cheer up Baseball fans, the Cards return to the nest this weekend and will play at Jim Patterson the rest of the way until the goal. Next stop: Omaha. Stay tuned to @UofLBaseball, @CardSportsZone and @Jeremy_CSZ for updates over the next few days including opponents, times and days and ticket prices!
V.J. King has arrived in Louisville. The 5 star Forward from Paul VI in Virginia took to Twitter as soon as he got to the YUM! practice facility. He wanted to let Damion Lee know that he had his back. Damion responded.
As you can see, Quentin Snider’s locker is next to VJ’s and he’s sporting a new number. It appears as if he is switching from 2 to 4.
DURHAM, N.C. – The third-ranked Louisville baseball team suffered its first loss of the 2016 ACC Championship and ended its 10-game winning streak with Friday’s 5-3 decision against No. 12 Clemson at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
The Cardinals (47-11) fell to 1-1 in Pool B action at the championship with the loss, while the sixth-seeded Tigers (40-18) avenged their series loss at Louisville in April and moved to 2-0 this week. The second-seeded Cardinals will conclude their preliminary schedule against seventh-ranked and third-seeded Virginia on Saturday at 7 p.m., ET.
****Cards can still make title game with a win vs Virginia at 7pm and a win for Wake vs Clemson tomorrow morning at 11****
The University of Louisville Football Department has been on top of things the entire off-season. From position breakdowns to mic’ing up the coaches they have kept us informed and entertained. They are at it again. They just released a new series called top 5. This weeks top 5 is the top 5 passing plays from last season. Enjoy and Go Cards!
Meet Obadiah Gamble aka Skolbadiah.
Gamble is a six year old future rap star (see below video) and a huge Vikings fan. Gamble is particularly fond of former University of Louisville and current Minnesota Vikings QB, Teddy Bridgewater.
According to the original post by CityPages.com, Gamble turns seven on Sunday. And who does he want in attendance at his birthday party?? None other than Mr. Teddy Bridgewater.
Via the magnificent and incomparable U of L Baseball SID Garett Wall, here are the up to the minute season statistics for the Cardinals as they get ready for #12 Clemson tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
